It’s time for the stars of the NASCAR Cup Series to shine in pursuit of one million dollars as drivers head to Texas Motor Speedway for the annual All-Star Race.
While 20 drivers are locked into the show, four more drivers will transfer in between the All-Star Open and the fan vote. 16 drivers are entered for the Open race, with segments of 20 laps, 20 laps and 10 laps set to send three drivers into the main event.
Garrett Smithley will pilot Rick Ware Racing’s No. 15 Ford in the Open race.
Spire Motorsports will seek to put its No. 77 Shelton Energy Solutions Chevrolet into the All-Star Race with Landon Cassill behind the wheel.
In the All-Star Race, AJ Allmendinger gets the nod from Kaulig Racing to drive the No. 16 Andy’s Frozen Custard Chevrolet as a result of his win at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course in 2021.
All-Star action begins with the Open race at 5:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1, with the All-Star Race following at 8 p.m. ET.
