Jeremy Clements Still Grinding His Own Path

Jeremy Clements Still Grinding His Own Path

On this episode of Bringing the Heat with Bryan Nolen, Stephen Stumpf sits down with NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Jeremy Clements. They talk about Clements’ 2024 season, NASCAR policing overtime and the sport’s change in respect among drivers over time.

They also discuss what it’s like to race for your own team and the different factors that influence things.

Trey Lyle joins Nolen the rest of the way to preview the upcoming Round of 12 in the NASCAR Cup Series and the different factors the drivers will face in the next three races. They also discuss the trade between Rick Ware Racing and Spire Motorsports that sees Corey LaJoie and Justin Haley swap rides starting at Kansas Speedway.

After hearing some post-race audio from Martin Truex Jr. for the Soundbite of the Week, Nolen and Lyle look at the big picture and discuss why we see so many drivers in their final season fall short of finding victory lane.

The podcast ends with some final thoughts, with Lyle talking about how a fun and exciting race at Kansas is much needed after Bristol Motor Speedway last weekend. Nolen then tells Truex fans to soak in all of these last moments with their favorite driver in his final season.
