Jason is someone I’m fortunate to call a close friend and one of the athletes I trained. He had a terrible accident while mountain biking and was airlifted to the hospital as quickly as possible thanks to his buddies who did all they could in an awful situation. Unfortunately his injuries proved to severe so he is on life support to keep his organs intact as they line up recipients (Jay is an organ donor).
Ultimately he died doing something he loved. While it doesn’t make it any better or any easier on an emotional level, it reminds us to take nothing for granted and enjoy every day we get. He’s the ultimate example of a doer and an incredible person to go along with that. We’ll miss him massively. A lot of positives that can be taken an emulated from who he was as a person, an athlete, and a friend.
Love you, Jay. I know you’re kicking it with Nicky and Dane up there. Probably giving me shit for being so emotional about the whole situation 😂💙🖤
