Australian Grand Prix winner Charles Leclerc is under investigation by the stewards over a possible infringement of the rules.
The stewards are examining whether the Ferrari driver drove unnecessarily slowly while returning to the pits on an in-lap during the qualifying session. Zhou Guanyu and Yuki Tsunoda are also being investigated for the same.
Representatives of the three teams involved – Ferrari, Alfa Romeo and AlphaTauri – have been summoned to meet the stewards.
If Leclerc is penalised the championship leader may lose his pole position. Max Verstappen qualified second ahead of team mate Sergio Perez.
Tsunoda and Zhou share the seventh row of the grid having qualified 13th and 14th respectively.
