W Series today announces its broadcast talent team for the 2022 season
David Coulthard, Ted Kravitz, and Lee McKenzie – who have all presented W Series since the inaugural season in 2019 – will be joined by Alex Jacques, Billy Monger, Amy Reynolds, and Naomi Schiff, all of whom joined W Series’ broadcast talent team in 2021 when W Series began its partnership with Formula 1.
W Series will include ten races across eight F1 Grand Prix weekends in 2022, and Sky Sports will broadcast live coverage of every qualifying and race session, once again produced by Whisper TV, beginning with a double-header in Miami, USA, on 6-8 May.
In addition, Channel 4 will broadcast live and free-to-air coverage of the fourth race of the 2022 W Series season, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, UK, in July, and show highlights of the other nine races from season three.
W Series’ 2022 broadcast talent team is as follows:
Presenter: Lee McKenzie is a broadcast journalist and presenter best known for her work in Formula 1. She also presents international rugby for both Channel 4 and the BBC, as well as Wimbledon, the Olympics, and the Paralympics.Lead commentator: Alex Jacques is lead commentator for Channel 4’s F1 coverage, and is also lead commentator for FIA F2.Co-commentator: David Coulthard MBE is a 13-time F1 Grand Prix winner, and a commentator and co-presenter for Channel 4’s F1 coverage. He is also Chairman of W Series’ Advisory Board and President of the British Racing Drivers’ Club.Co-commentator: Billy Monger is a double-amputee British racing driver who achieved his first single-seater race win in 2019 at the Pau Grand Prix. He has been an analyst for Channel 4’s F1 and Paralympics coverage, and was a co-commentator for W Series’ Esports League in 2020.Pitlane reporter: Ted Kravitz is an F1 pitlane reporter who has presented on Sky Sports F1 since 2012.
