MURRIETA, CA – May 18, 2022 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – KTM North America, Inc. is pleased to announce enhanced details for the 16th running of KTM Youth Day, a special celebration focused on the future generation of offroad racers, held in conjunction with the historic John Penton GNCC in Millfield, Ohio.

KTM Youth Day (1)

Serving as Round 7 of the 2022 AMA Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series this weekend, May 21 and 22, the John Penton GNCC embraces KTM history as the event is named after the man who originally imported the KTM motorcycle from Austria into the United States. As a salute to Mr. John Penton, KTM will once again offer a special weekend of activities centered around youth racing.

Every Youth motorcycle racer who enters the John Penton GNCC will receive a commemorative Youth Day t-shirt. Participants will receive a ticket at GNCC Registration, in which they can redeem for a free t-shirt at the KTM Trackside Support truck. Additionally, KTM will be handing out a limited supply of “Aaron Plessinger-inspired” cowboy hats at the Trackside Support truck, while supplies last, so get there fast!

All riders and race fans are encouraged to stop by the KTM Trackside Support truck on Saturday at 4 p.m. for a BBQ dinner supporting The Ryan Dungey Foundation, with proceeds going toward the organization’s efforts to create opportunities for the next generation of children by supporting a healthy and active lifestyle for kids. Further celebrating the growth of youth racing, KTM will be giving away special bibs for all ePeeWee (STACYC) participants and a t-shirt to all finishers of Saturday’s race.

KTM Youth Day (2)

On Sunday morning, the FMF KTM Factory Racing Team and KTM-supported pro riders will be at the finish line area to award each Youth motorcycle racer with a finisher medallion upon completion of their race.
