The NASCAR Cup Series contests its second road course event of 2022 at Sonoma Raceway this Sunday, June 12.
The usual 36 chartered Cup teams are entered, with no extra cars, meaning all will qualify, barring any entry list changes.
Joey Hand returns for his second Cup start of 2022 for Rick Ware Racing in the No. 15. At Circuit of the Americas, he finished 35th.
Scott Heckert makes his first Cup appearance of the year, driving the No. 78 for Live Fast Motorsports. Heckert made three starts for the team in 2021, with a best finish of 26th at Sonoma. He’s run two NASCAR Xfinity Series races this season for BJ McLeod Motorsports, his best result coming last weekend at Portland International Raceway (13th).
The 2022 Toyota/Save Mart 350 kicks off Sunday, June 12, at 4 p.m. ET, with TV coverage on FOX Sports 1.
