Bobby Labonte will roll off from the pole position in heat one of the Camping World SRX Series event at South Boston Speedway.
The 2000 NASCAR Cup Series champion finished fifth last week at Five Flags Speedway.
Greg Biffle begins in second after placing just behind Labonte in sixth at Five Flags.
A pair of NTT IndyCar Series veterans, Marco Andretti and Ryan Hunter-Reay, start third and fourth in heat one. Peyton Sellers, this week’s local all-star and six-time track champion at South Boston, rounds out the top five.
Ernie Francis Jr. and Paul Tracy, who look to bounce back after finishing 11th and 12th at Five Flags, start sixth and seventh, respectively. Tony Stewart is eighth, Michael Waltrip is ninth and Tony Kanaan completes the top 10.
Five Flags winner Helio Castroneves lines up 11th and Ryan Newman brings up the rear in 12th.
