After many years of participating in various automotive events and test-n-tunes, and successfully running his own businesses, Nate Prater decided to try his hand at running a race and created the Street Car Braggin’ Rights event to support the local street car scene around Augusta, Georgia.
A first-time promoter, Prater conceptualized the event to give street car enthusiasts a place where they could put up or shut up without having to compete with purpose-built racecars for time and attention. Prater even went so far as to have luxury bathrooms brought in for comfort and convenience.
