World Championship leader Fabio Quartararo rounded out the top five with a 1:59.332 on his Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ entry. The half-hour session featured several incidents, with Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda Idemitsu) and Darryn Binder (WithU Yamaha RNF MotoGP™ Team) also crashing, while Raul Fernandez (Tech3 KTM Factory Racing) suffered an apparent engine failure.
