After Jeremy Clements pulled off an upset for the ages at Daytona International Speedway last weekend, the NASCAR Xfinity Series only has three races remaining in the regular season. Next up, drivers will head to Darlington Raceway for the second time this season.
Thirty-eight cars are entered for the event, locking each driver in barring any late changes to the entry list.
Ty Dillon will hop into the No. 02 Chevrolet for Our Motorsports. Dillon has competed in three series races this season, with two coming with JD Motorsports and the other one with Big Machine Racing Team.
BJ McLeod Motorsports puts Tommy Joe Martins in the No. 5 Capital City Ford. Martins has competed in four races this season, all with Alpha Prime Racing, the team he co-owns.
Chad Finchum will make his second start of the season with MBM Motorsports in the No. 13 Chevrolet. Finchum competed at Dover Motor Speedway in May and failed to qualify in the spring race at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Martinsville Speedway.
Kyle Larson jumps back into the No. 17 Hendrickscars.com Chevrolet. Larson won his last outing at Watkins Glen International with JR Motorsports in their No. 88 Chevrolet. This will be his third series start in 2022. Larson was originally expected to be in the No. 88, which is not entered.
Denny Hamlin makes his annual start at Darlington with Joe Gibbs Racing in the No. 18 Sport Clips Haircuts Toyota. This will be the fifth consecutive season Hamlin has made a one-off appearance in the series, all coming at Darlington.
Dawson Cram will pilot the No. 35 Be Water Ford for Emerling Gase Motorsports. Cram has made one start in NXS, competing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway last year.
Josh Williams will drive the No. 36 Alloy Employer Services Chevrolet for DGM Racing. Williams competed in the No. 92 at Daytona last week.
APR will have Ryan Ellis in the No. 44 KeenParts.com Chevrolet and Stefan Parsons in the No. 45 Pops Mart Chevrolet. Ellis last competed at Michigan International Speedway while Parsons was in the car at Watkins Glen.
Ross Chastain will become the next Cup regular to run in Big Machine’s No. 48 Chevrolet. Chastain has competed in three races this year with DGM in the No. 92.
Kris Wright is back in the No. 68 First National Bank Chevrolet for Brandonbilt Motorsports. Wright made his 2022 series debut with the team at Watkins Glen.
Brandon Brown is set to drive the No. 78 Toyota for BJMM.
