Reminds all to practice defensive, distraction-free driving and riding
PICKERINGTON, OH – November 23, 2022 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – The American Motorcyclist Association urges motorists to look out for motorcyclists — and other drivers — during the Thanksgiving holiday.
“In addition to street riders in the Southern tier of the country, many off-road and dual sport riders use the holiday weekend to ride,” said AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman. “Some of the latter may cross portions of public roadways, so the AMA asks both motorists and motorcyclists to remain vigilant and operate their vehicles responsibly.”
“Don’t let the excitement of the Thanksgiving holiday negatively impact your ability to be safe on the roadways,” Dingman added. “Remain focused on the road and those who occupy it, and never ride or drive under the influence.”
While we keep in mind and practice safe habits on the roadways, let’s also spend this holiday celebrating the motorcycle lifestyle we all enjoy and giving thanks for all those who help protect our right to ride and make the community special.
