Carson Hocevar is back in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2023 with Niece Motorsports, Niece announced Dec. 8.
Hocevar will again pilot the No. 42.
Worldwide Express will sponsor the effort.
“Niece Motorsports feels like home, so I’m excited to come back and compete for a championship in 2023,” Hocevar said in a team release. “I’m so thankful to Worldwide Express and their WWEX Racing program for stepping up to sponsor us for the whole season. I’ve enjoyed the partnership and really look forward to growing it next season. Our goal remains to bring Niece Motorsports, Al Niece and WWEX Racing wins and a championship in 2023.”

2023 marks Hocevar’s third full-time season with Niece. In 2022, he scored seven top fives and 12 top 10s and finished 10th in points for the second straight year.
Hocevar is the first driver to be announced to Niece’s lineup for 2023. In 2022, the team fielded three full-time trucks, plus a nearly full-time No. 44 and a part-time No. 41. One of its drivers, Dean Thompson, has since moved to TRICON Garage for 2023.
