The French GP slips off the schedule this year, after a four-year return to the F1 calendar at Paul Ricard from 2018 to 2022, which could mean another lengthy spell on the sidelines.
It was previously dormant from 2009 to 2017 after an 18-year run at Magny-Cours, which took over from Ricard in 1991 due to political reasons.
