Hendrick Motorsports has locked out the front row yet again, with Bowman earning pole position over teammate Kyle Larson. William Byron made it a 1-2-3 for HMS, qualifying third.
It is Bowman’s third Daytona 500 pole and his sixth consecutive front row start.
Jimmie Johnson and Travis Pastrana were the highest qualified open entries, locking them both into the event.
