Luke Fenhaus, SRX Slinger

Luke Fenhaus will run the full ARCA Menards Series East season for Pinnacle Racing Group, PRG announced March 3.

The Wausau, Wis., native will drive the newly formed team’s No. 28 Chevrolet.

Fenhaus has worked with Chevrolet as a development driver and has also competed in the ARCA Midwest tour winning Rookie of the Year honors in 2021. He also won the Supply Zone Slinger Nationals at Slinger Speedway in Wisconsin the same year.

Additionally, the 18-year-old got to compete at Slinger Speedway in the Camping World SRX Series in its inaugural season and performed valiantly, finishing second behind IndyCar star Marco Andretti.

He’s the reigning champion in the CARS Pro Late Model Tour.

“I am extremely humbled by this opportunity to drive for Pinnacle Racing Group this season in the ARCA Menards Series East,” Fenhaus said in a release. “Shane [Huffman, owner] and the entire PRG team have spent the past several months building something special and I am the lucky driver that gets the opportunity to showcase that.

“I am extremely appreciative of Chevrolet for also giving me this opportunity to enhance my resume and complete in the ARCA Menards Series East. We have eight race, eight opportunities to contend for the championship, and eight chances to put our No. 28 Pinnacle Racing Group Chevrolet in victory lane.”

Fenhaus and PRG will begin their quest for an ARCA East championship on March 25 at Five Flags Speedway.
