After multiple years with two dirt races a season, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series’ only race on the dirt happens this weekend at the Bristol Motor Speedway dirt track.

With 41 drivers entered, five will miss the main event, barring any entry list changes.

Norm Benning is entered in his self-owned No. 6 for the first time in 2023. Benning previously appeared at Daytona International Speedway in G2G Racing’s No. 46 but failed to qualify.

Jonathan Davenport is attempting his series debut in Spire Motorsports’ No. 7. Davenport is also debuting in the NASCAR Cup Series race this weekend in Kaulig Racing’s No. 13.

Young’s Motorsports’ No. 20 is currently entered but without a driver listed.

Multiple full-time Cup drivers are also running the Truck event. Chase Briscoe is in AM Racing’s No. 22 while William Byron will drive Kyle Busch Motorsports’ No. 51 and Joey Logano will compete in ThorSport Racing’s No. 66.

Tanner Carrick will attempt his series debut in On Point Motorsports’ No. 30.

After driving for AM at Texas Motor Speedway, Josh Reaume returns to his self-owned No. 34.

Tyler Carpenter is one of the weekend’s dirt ringers in Niece Motorsports’ No. 41.

G2G’s No. 46 is listed with Jerry Bohlman, while the team’s No. 47 is entered with Andrew Gordon using his equipment.

Timmy Hill returns to his family-owned No. 56 after Tyler Hill piloted it at Texas but withdrew due to a practice accident.

Jessica Friesen, wife of full-timer Stewart Friesen, returns to the Bristol dirt race for the third year in a row in Halmar Friesen Racing’s No. 62.

Parker Kligerman and the part-time No. 75 Henderson Motorsports effort is back.

The Nos. 1 of TRICON Garage and 44 of Niece were initially entered but have since withdrawn.

The Weather Guard Truck Race on Dirt will be contested Saturday, April 8, at 8 p.m. ET, with TV coverage from FOX Sports 1.
