The National Hot Rod Association and the Gainesville Raceway, ahead of this weekend’s season-opening NHRA Gatornationals — the first national event to be held under the new Mission Foods title right sponsorship agreement — have invited the stars of the Mission Foods Drag Racing Series pro ranks and the Congruity NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series to test Tuesday and Wednesday this week in preparation for the busy season ahead.
The Tony Stewart Racing cars of NASCAR Hall of famer Tony Stewart and reigning Funny Car champ Matt Hagan, 1/8-mile speed barrier-breaker Mike Salinas, Ron Capps, Antron Brown, Greg Anderson, and the entire contingent of the NHRA’s top stars are shaking their machines down, before heading into qualifying on Friday afternoon at the first of 21 national events.
You can watch live (and free) on the NHRA’s YouTube channel on Tuesday and Wednesday.
