MotoAmerica has announced its new timing system that’s designed to offer a better experience to its fans who follow the races via live timing.

Available to all fans during product testing, MotoAmerica Live+ subscribers will have additional features at their fingertips when testing is complete. MotoAmerica, however, will still run its normal live-timing page and results.

The new fan-engagement platform analyzes data and displays it in an interactive manner, allowing fans to follow their favorite riders more easily and with more information.

The system will also allow for additional features like fan polls, the ability to compare head-to-head performance between riders, and tracking of riders with warning flags, race stoppages, messages, etc. that is normally only available to race officials in the scoring tower.

“We are always working to come up with ways that will enhance our fans’ experience, and the new live-timing system is another example of that,” said MotoAmerica COO Chuck Aksland. “We know fans will like what the new system offers.”
