The ARCA Menards Series West is back in action this weekend, taking on the 1.980-mile 12-turn Portland International Raceway at the Portland 112.

Entered this week are 24 drivers, including Sean Hingorani, the reigning series champion, who will be driving for Jerry Pitts’ defending race-winning No. 5. It’s Hingorani’s third different team this year. Kole Raz won in the car in the series’ last appearance.

Caleb Shrader makes his first start of the year in a third Pitts-owned car, the No. 6.

Jake Finch, who won at Talladega earlier this year in the national ARCA Menards Series event, will drive the No. 15 for Venturini Motorsports, and Gio Ruggiero, the runner-up in the season opener at Phoenix Raceway, will drive the team’s No. 20. A third Venturini entry will be driven by Isabella Robusto; she also drove the No. 55 at Phoenix.

William Sawalich also makes the trek out West, driving the No. 18 for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Jake Walker, an IMSA sports car racer, will be behind the wheel of Sigma Performance Services’ No. 23 this week, marking the team’s third driver this year. Dale Quarterley, another road racing expert, will pilot his own No. 32 in his first West appearance of the year.

Past NASCAR Xfinity Series winner Brandon Jones will be back in the West Series to drive the No. 42 owned by Cook Racing Technologies, with his teammate, Marco Andretti, in the No. 17.

Dave Smith, who has a prior start at PIR, will get a shot at the helm of Performance P-1 Motorsports’ No. 77 Toyota, and Tanner Reif, a former winner in the West Series, will take over the driving duties for Naake-Klauer Motorsports’ No. 88 Ford after previously driving for Cook this year.

The Portland 112 is scheduled for Friday, May 31 at 7 p.m. ET and can be watched live on FloRacing or heard on the Motor Racing Network.
