The four-day event will showcase an array of unique vehicles, exploring the Japanese automotive industry’s evolution from the 1950s to the 2020s and INFINITI’s influence on its development

PEBBLE BEACH, CA – August 7, 2024 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – INFINITI and MotorTrend Group are pleased to bring the Japanese Automotive Invitational (JAI) back to the 2024 Pebble Beach™ Automotive Week and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance® automotive weekend from August 15 to 18 for its fifth year. Over the course of the four-day event, attendees are invited to journey across decades of automotive history with a showcase of vehicles intended to celebrate the significant impact that Japanese automotive culture and design has had on America.

Situated in Concours Village, the epicenter of Pebble Beach Car Week, JAI and INFINITI will feature a completely new show field featuring museum-worthy Japanese vehicles. The event is open to spectators with no additional tickets required while the Concours Village is operational (Thursday, August 15 – Saturday, August 17 from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm and Sunday, August 18 from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm).

Featured show-quality vehicles from private collectors, automotive museums, and manufacturer collections will exemplify Japanese innovation, design, and performance that originate from a rich and historically significant car culture. The list of vehicles on display includes*:

Saturday’s event festivities will include Ed Loh, Head of Editorial at MotorTrend, and Alfonso Albaisa, Nissan Motor Corporation senior vice president for Global Design, two will both be presenting the “Honorary Medallion” to a select car owner. Albaisa, responsible for developing bold and expressive designs for both INFINITI and Nissan brands, will award the medallion based on innovation of design as well as historical and cultural impact.

Additionally, Saturday will include a live recording, of MotorTrend’s The InEVitable Podcast as Ed Loh, MotorTrend’s Head of Editorial, and Jonny Lieberman, Senior Features Editor, at the Pebble Beach Forum across from the JAI will discuss the future of mobility for supercars and hypercars alongside industry-respected designers and executives from various automakers.
