CPP’s DBW Pedal Bracket Makes LS Swaps Easier

CPP's DBW Pedal Bracket Makes LS Swaps Easier

Considering an LS swap for your classic Chevy car or truck and approaching the final checklist items, one of the last tasks is installing a throttle pedal – one that can be especially painful if you need a DBW pedal bracket. While it may sound simple, those familiar with the process know that it’s not always an easy installation. Luckily, Classic Performance Product’s Drive by Wire Throttle Pedal Bracket for LS Swaps is designed to address this challenge for those using the popular Gen 4 small-block Chevy.

You can choose to spend several hours cutting, welding, bending, and drilling, as well as making trips to the hardware store to create your own DBW pedal bracket. Alternatively, you have the option to contact CPP and obtain all the necessary components, then devote just 20 minutes to bolt in your drive-by-wire throttle pedal. The decision is up to you!

CPP provides comprehensive, vehicle-specific kits that come with the GM drive-by-wire throttle pedal assembly (PN 25835421) along with the bracket and hardware. Alternatively, if you already have the pedal assembly, you can acquire just the bracket and hardware required for installation.

If you happen to be swapping an LS into a 1964 through 1967 Chevelle, you’re in luck. Check out CPP’s detailed instructions with photos from when they installed the bracket into their 1967 Chevelle.
