This ASAG Race Will Pay 100K To The Winner

Imagine having the chance to turn on three win lights and win a $100,000 pot. The racers who are taking part in the 100K ASAG Michigan 8-Car Invitational will have that opportunity on August 23rd at Milan Dragway thanks to Payso Productions. This event’s payout is one of the largest in N/T racing history, and it’s going to be like a three-round heavyweight prize fight.

The ASAG in the race’s title stands for All Steel and All Glass. That means each of these cars started life as a real production vehicle and still wear plenty of OEM parts. Each of the racers who paid the $10,000 entry fee are from Michigan and all of them have a chance of winning the event.

Here’s the list of the great eight who will be throwing down at the 100K ASAG Michigan 8-Car Invitational:

  • Jason Icenhower, driver of “Killing Spree”
  • Rod Bassett, driver of “Morpheus”
  • Sean Simpson, driver of “Rent Free”
  • Jason Sammons, driver of his 2000 Pontiac Trans Am
  • Chris Bluga, driver of “The Boss”
  • John and Mike Morelli, driver of “Major Payne”
  • Rob Golobo, driver of his 2006 Corvette
  • Sam Sullivan, driver of “Lickity Split”

James Nash, AKA Jay Payso, who started Payso Productions loved the idea of bringing eight of these cars together to race for life changing money. However, Payso didn’t want this event to be dominated by big teams with massive budgets.

“This event started with a post on Facebook, and the interest and energy from racers and fans was immediate. As racers began contacting me, it became apparent that there was enough local talent to field the inaugural race with eight amazing ASAG cars from Michigan. The $10,000 entry is no joke. I thought we’d have some cold feet, but all the racers have locked in and it’s going down. Three rounds of racing to see who takes home $100,000. These are not professional race teams, these are regular guys/race families where a 100K payday is a game changer for their race program,” Nash says.

The 100K ASAG Michigan 8-Car Invitational is stacking up to be one of the most exciting races of the year. If you’re a fan of N/T racing, you might want to make the trip to Milan, Michigan to see this in person. One thing is for sure, one of these eight racers is going to score a big payday that could change their race program forever.
