LONDON, ENGLAND – August 22, 2024 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – RM Sotheby’s is delighted to announce the sale of The Schumacher and F1 Legends Collection, an exotic array of predominantly Michael Schumacher memorabilia and accessories. With lots ranging from a race helmet worn by Michael Schumacher during his 2010 Formula 1 comeback with Mercedes-Benz, to a Scuderia Ferrari-liveried scooter, there will undoubtedly be something for everyone in this unique sale. Also on offer are pieces of memorabilia from the likes of Fernando Alonso, Jean Todt, and Giancarlo Fisichella, many of which are signed. These include items such as a 2004 Fernando Alonso Renault Formula 1 Arai Signed Helmet, which was worn at the 2004 Imola Grand Prix, where Alonso took 4th place.

Highlights include a 1997 Michael Schumacher Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 OMP Nomex Signed Racing Suit, which has been signed by the racing legend himself (Estimate: €30,000 – €50,000). This is followed by a 2001 Michael Schumacher Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 Schuberth Signed Helmet, that comes from Schumacher’s 2001 World Championship-winning season. He wore it at the 2001 Hungarian Grand Prix, where he qualified 1st and finished 1st, in addition to the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, where he also qualified and finished 1st overall. This piece of history will be offered without reserve and is estimated to sell between €30,000 – €40,000

Another fascinating item that will be offered in the sale is a 2005 Loncin LX110ST Signed Quad Bike, that is offered with photographs, paint brush and cans, highlighting its involvement with Schumacher when he was at the zenith of his career (Estimate: €3,000 – €6,000). Many of the items offered are extremely rare and seldom become available on the open market.
