Ty Majeski Eyes a Championship

Trey Lyle

On this episode of Bringing the Heat with Bryan Nolen, Steve Leffew talks with NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Ty Majeski. They discuss racing in his home state last weekend at the Milwaukee Mile and his outlook for the playoffs, including how he compares himself to Corey Heim and Christian Eckes, the other two favorites for the championship.

After the Majeski conversation, Trey Lyle, who is filling in for Nolen, is joined by Anthony Damcott to discuss the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, including NASCAR heading to Mexico City for a race next year. Also, the guys preview the playoff cut line heading into the final race of the regular season at Darlington on Sunday.

Kyle Busch comes into focus for the soundbite of the week as Lyle and Damcott react to his post-race comments on if he could have done any more on the final lap to win at Daytona. This leads to a debate on whether the driver will win a race at any point during the rest of this season.

The show wraps up with some final thoughts about the manufacturers’ pettiness. Lyle also talks about how good Leigh Diffey was on Saturday and the added energy he brought to the broadcast booth.
