Jesse Love Nabs 4th Xfinity Pole of 2024 at Atlanta

Nascar Xfinity Series

Jesse Love will lead the NASCAR Xfinity Series field to the green flag for Saturday’s (Sept. 7) Focused Health 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway after posting a speed of 173.646 mph in qualifying.

The Richard Childress Racing driver picked up his fourth pole of the season, his second at Atlanta and his third at a superspeedway-style track.

Love was dominant at Atlanta in February when he led 157 laps before he ran out of fuel in overtime.

Taylor Gray of Joe Gibbs Racing posted his best career Xfinity Series start and will start on the front row with Love after clocking in at 173.489 mph. Taylor will make his 10th Xfinity Series start of the season in the No. 19 Toyota.

Cole Custer, the fastest Ford, and RCR driver Austin Hill, a three-time Atlanta winner, will line up in row two. Sheldon Creed completed the top five.

AJ Allmendinger, Ryan Truex, Chandler Smith, Riley Herbst and Justin Allgaier rounded out the top 10.

DGM Racing’s Kyle Weatherman was the only driver who did not complete a lap as he suffered a flat tire on his lap after a mechanical failure. He will start last in the 37-car field.

With the field falling one entry short of the maximum 38 cars, all drivers entered will race this afternoon.

The green flag for the Focused Health 250 will wave at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday. TV coverage will be provided by USA Network.
