Even-Year Joey Logano Does it Again

Trey Lyle

On this week’s Happy Hour, the hosts Trey Lyle, Michael Massie and Caleb Barnes are joined by Bryan Nolen, host of Bringing the Heat with Bryan Nolen, to talk the frenzy of NASCAR Cup Series storylines exiting Atlanta Motor Speedway.

The quartet dive into Joey Logano‘s playoff-opening win and why the two-time Cup champion makes the Championship 4 every other year. Will that trend continue this year?

The guys then discuss the topic of the year that ramped up this past weekend: charter negotiations. All but 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports signed the charter agreement presented by NASCAR, but was it right the way NASCAR went about getting the signatures? Do the two holdouts have a shot at winning if they get into a legal battle with NASCAR?

The gang then makes their picks at which of the current drivers below the cut line— Brad Keselowski, Harrison Burton, Chase Briscoe and Martin Truex Jr. — in the Round of 16 will make it to the next round and which ones will be eliminated.

Finally, this past weekend was the first of NFL action. The guys go through a list of drivers and select which driver best matches an NFL team.
