Dawson Sutton has entered the ARCA Menards Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway via a car owned by Hettinger Racing, the team announced Sept. 16.
Bristol marks the first series appearance for both Sutton and the Hettinger team.
Sutton will pilot the No. 71 Chevrolet with backing from Rackley Roofing.
“Racing at Bristol is a dream come true,” Sutton said in a team release. “I grew up watching races at the track and anytime I can race in Tennessee is an honor. I know Chris [Hettinger, owner] and the Hettinger team will be ready to go this weekend.”
The 18-year-old has made two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts to date, with a best finish of 18th coming at Nashville Superspeedway.
