Kenny Nowling Named New President of the IHRA

The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) announced, today, its new President to be Kenny Nowling, who has three decades of experience in the area of drag racing. With his entire career in the industry, Nowling has been instrumental in leading the way for top-tier drag racing events and possesses vast knowledge of the business side of the sport.

And IHRA Owner and CEO Larry Jeffers concurs: “Kenny’s passion for drag racing is undeniable. Nowling’s Vision for the Future

Kenny Nowling will look to drive the IHRA’s focus and emphasis on strong relationships with its track partners, always taking care to ensure that the tracks have everything they need not only to survive but to thrive. He also will look to expand on programs such as Summit Team Finals and Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering, making them exciting and competitive for both racers and fans. Nowling has his sights set on expanding IHRA reach nationwide as well as around the globe. He has brought excitement of drag racing to a whole new set of people. He is going to focus majorly on establishing the IHRA as the undisputed world leader in this sport.
