For The Baber Family, LS Fest Is In Their Blood

LS Fest

The numbers are in, last month’s Holley LS Fest East 2024 was the largest LS Fest event yet. Holley reported record attendance at Beech Bend Raceway Park where the event is held. Nearly 45,000 enthusiasts and over 2,750 vehicles attended the three-day festival, which featured exhibitors, LS-powered vehicles of all types, and races throughout the weekend. For Dan and Easter Baber, owners and operators of Michigan Motorsports, LS Fest is not just another event on the annual company travel schedule. For the Baber family, LS Fest is in their blood.

The Notch isn’t just a nice red Mustang brought along for attendees to admire, this Mustang serves as a test bed for new products as well as Tyler’s personal drag car he runs in True Street classes. Tyler was able to pull off an unprecedented fourth win in a row at LS Fest East Drag & Drive. Despite the challenges of racing in the sweltering Kentucky heat, Tyler piloted “The Notch” to three back-to-back passes, averaging an impressive 7.63 at 183 mph, ultimately securing the overall win in this year’s Drag & Drive.

We had an amazing time at this year’s event, and our booth was packed with LS enthusiasts excited to check out our latest products. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with both new faces and long-time supporters.

Michigan Motorsports was proud to be the major sponsor of this year’s Drift Challenge, giving them a front-row seat to some of the weekend’s most thrilling moments. The action didn’t stop there, as they were excited to also sponsor drift racer Jonathan Nerren, whose LS-swapped Nissan S14 prominently featured Michigan…
