Brayton Laster plans a full-season ARCA Menards Series effort in 2025, he announced Oct. 30.
Laster will drive for Wayne Peterson Motorsports for the balance of the schedule, reconvening with a team for whom he’s driven multiple events in the past year.
“I am really excited to have the opportunity to run with Wayne Peterson in 2025,” Laster said in a release. “I have been racing for over 13 years at this point and never thought I would ever get an opportunity to compete full time in any sort of national series, let alone the ARCA Menards Series.
“I have ran part time the entirety of my ARCA career and have made starts at every type of track the series runs. I have been working and preparing myself for an opportunity like this and the opportunity has finally arisen to attempt all 20 races with a single team. We are not planning on setting the world on fire or breaking new records, just going out there and finishing every single race and scoring as high as we can in points is the goal, anything extra is just the toppings on the pizza.”
In 2024, Laster ran seven main-series ARCA races, including two with WPM. His best result came with the team at Salem Speedway, a ninth-place run. He has four top 10s in the series since 2022 in 16 starts.
Laster did not reveal which number he’ll drive for the team. The Wayne Peterson-owned organization fielded the No. 06 full time and the No. 0 part time in 2024.
“We are very excited to be working with Brayton for the entire 2025 season,” Nate Moeller, WPM crew chief and driver, added. “It has been fun working with him in the past and he takes great care of our equipment, the entire team is really excited to see what he is able to do in the coming year!”
