Miles Stanley will be the crew chief for the Wood Brothers Racing No. 21 Ford next season in the NASCAR Cup Series, the team announced Oct. 30.
Stanley will be paired up with driver Josh Berry, who moves over from the soon-to-close Stewart-Haas Racing.
“The Wood Brothers name is synonymous with the sport of NASCAR, and to be able to serve as the crew chief for the iconic No. 21 is an incredible opportunity,” Stanley said in a team release. “I’m looking forward to working with Josh Berry, whose skills and enthusiasm are sure to bring great value to the team.
“It’s an exciting time for the Wood Brothers with the addition of Josh Berry and the celebration of their 75th anniversary in NASCAR in 2025. We’ll be ready to hit the ground running.”
Stanley is a veteran race engineer who’s spent the last three seasons as Team Penske’s performance engineer manager.
Stanley served as the race engineer for Joey Logano’s No. 22 team for several seasons prior, including its 2018 championship-winning season.
“Miles has built an impressive resume filled with wins and championships, and he has a deep, technical understanding of the sport,” WBR President Jon Wood added. “His commitment and impressive track record make him a perfect fit for the No. 21 team as we enter an exciting new chapter.”
In 2024, Harrison Burton has driven the No. 21, earning a win and two top 10s. Berry has two top fives and four top 10s in SHR’s No. 4.
