William Sawalich has earned the pole for the ARCA Menards Series West season finale at Phoenix Raceway. He will lead the 24-driver field to the green flag for the 100-lap race on Friday (Nov. 8).
Sawalich excels at Phoenix in West competition. Including this pole award, he is now 4-for-4 in scoring the pole. In his three previous starts at the 1-mile racetrack, he has two wins, top top fives, two top 10s and 253 laps led.
Sawalich already took home a bevy of trophies in 2024, including his second straight ARCA Menards Series East championship. Second in East points Connor Zilisch will start alongside Sawalich on the front row. Zilisch posted the fastest lap in the West practice session.
Jack Wood starts third, the highest West series regular.
Tyler Reif and Sean Hingorani round out the top-five starters in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Hingorani enters the race weekend 14 points ahead of Reif. Hingorani will clinch with a ninth-place, or better, finish. Hingorani has four starts at Phoenix with two top fives, two top 10s and a best result of third in this race last year.
Reif meanwhile has one win, two top fives and two top 10s in his four Phoenix starts.
Gio Ruggiero, Brent Crews, Kaden Honeycutt, Lavar Scott and Kole Raz complete the top 10 in sixth through 10th, respectively.
Three drivers did not post a lap in qualifying: Rip Michels, Bobby Hillis Jr. and Tony Huffman. All entered drivers made the starting lineup.
The West field wraps up its season at Phoenix on Friday, Nov. 7 at 1:30 p.m. ET with live coverage provided by FloRacing.
