Ty Majeski will lead the Craftsman Truck Series field to the green flag for this evening’s (Nov. 8) season finale at Phoenix Raceway.
Majeski’s lap of 138.180 mph was three hundredths of a second faster than second-place Corey Heim, who will roll off of the front row beside Majeski.
Each of the four championship contenders will start inside of the top five, with Majeski and Heim followed by Christian Eckes in fourth and Grant Enfinger in fifth. The lone starter in the top five that is not a part of the championship battle is Stewart Friesen, who starts third.
The remainder of the top 10 starts sees Dean Thompson starting sixth, Nick Sanchez seventh, Kaden Honeycutt eighth, Connor Mosack ninth, and Chase Purdy 10th.
While all trucks took to the track in the session, Lawless Alan spun in his No. 33 Reaume Brothers Racing entry, making significant contact with the outside wall on his lap. His team will go to a backup truck prior to the start of the race.
Phoenix Truck Lineup
The green flag for this evening’s championship event is set to fly at 8 p.m. ET, with the race’s broadcast being carried on FOX Sports 1.
