Women’s junior series F1 Academy to race at Las Vegas in revamped 2025 calendar · RaceFans

The F1 Academy series will make its debut at Las Vegas and two other new venues on a revamped seven-round calendar for 2025.

The all-female series will enter its third season in 2025 and again hold 14 races held over a total of seven double-header rounds.

The current F1 Academy season has its two final rounds set to be held in Losail and Yas Marina as part of the Qatar and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix, respectively. However neither of those circuits, nor the Circuit de Catalunya, will return to the F1 Academy calendar in 2025.

Instead, the championship will begin with two races at the Shanghai International Circuit as part of the Chinese Grand Prix weekend, before joining F1 again in Saudi Arabia for a return to the Jeddah Corniche circuit.

The series will return once more to Miami as it did this year, then remain in North America and rejoin F1 in June to race as part of the Canadian Grand Prix weekend around the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The fifth round of the championship will take place at Zandvoort, which has hosted F1 Academy rounds across both of its first two season.

The penultimate round of the championship will take place at the Marina Bay street circuit as part of the Singapore Grand Prix weekend. For the finale, teams will join F1 at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit in November.

Alongside the seven rounds and 14 races, F1 Academy drivers will have a total of 15 dedicated test days in their cars spread across the year.

Alpine junior driver Abbi Pulling has dominated the 2024 season so far and is near-certain to clinch the title at the first race of the next round in Qatar. The winner of this year’s championship will receive a fully-funded drive with Rodin in the 2025 GB3 series.
