Red Bull’s second team has become the latest in the field to reveal a special one-off livery for this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix.

RB drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson will race around the Las Vegas Strip Circuit this weekend in a unique livery inspired by a new product from title sponsors Visa.

The team has added touches of light green to their livery with a “glitter overlay” on top of the VCARB01’s typical blue look. Tsunoda and team mate Lawson will also race with matching race suits, while team mechanics and personnel will wear team shirts of the dame design.

RB chose Las Vegas as the venue to launch their 2024 season campaign and base livery design for the in February. RB team CEO Peter Bayer said it was only appropriate for the team to race with a special look this weekend.

“It wouldn’t be Las Vegas without a touch of glitter, and as the home of glitz, it only felt right to bring this livery to the Las Vegas race,” said Bayer.

“Creative collaboration with our partners has led to outstanding liveries beyond the norm, allowing us to disrupt the way we do things in Formula 1, as we’ve seen in Miami and Singapore. I look forward to seeing the VCARB01 shimmering under the lights on track.”

Four teams are running different liveries at this weekend’s race. Alpine, Sauber and Williams are also sporting special designs on their cars.

RB fell from seventh to eighth in the constructors’ championship at the last round in Interlagos. Despite scoring their second-highest points haul of the season with eight points following a double top ten for Tsunoda and Lawson, the double podium finish for Alpine rocketed RB’s rivals ahead of both them and Haas in the standings.
