LME’s New Billet LT2 Oil Pan Allows For A Bigger Stroke

A billet aluminum dry-sump oil pan designed specifically for LT2-powered C8 Corvettes was recently revealed by Late Model Engines at the 2024 PRI Show. This new component addresses the limitation of the factory oil pan, which restricts the use of longer-stroke crankshafts in the 6.2-liter LT2 engine. This was a problem for performance enthusiasts seeking to increase engine displacement.
