Formula 1 announces UNICEF partnership · RaceFans

Formula 1 has announced it will enter into a three-year partnership with the United Nations children’s charity UNICEF.

The world championship will support UNICEF’s education and humanitarian responses to disasters and emergencies, such as this week’s earthquake across Turkey and Syria which has killed tens of thousands of people.

Formula 1 says it will donate to UNICEF’s emergency fund as part of the partnership, which will run over the next three seasons. The sport previously supported UNICEF with a donation to its emergency fund in March last year in response to the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, setting up an affiliate donation link for fans to donate to.
