ATI designed its Super Damper to eliminate harmful torsional crankshaft vibrations in high-performance applications. An OEM damper just isn’t designed to deal with horsepower levels that exceed what the engine generated from the factory, so a Super Damper is the perfect solution. The Super Damper can also be tuned and rebuilt when it comes time for maintenance.
ATI part number 918657 will work on 2010-15 LS3 Camaros, Gen 3 or Gen 4 Vortec-powered trucks with the 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0-liter engine, 2003-06 LS1 and LS2-powered SSRs, and 2006-2009 LS2-powered Trailblazers with the 5.3 or 6.0-liter engine.
This damper is OEM-sized and has a 7.48-inch aluminum shell that will work with high-performance and non-A/C applications. The dampers feature laser-etched timing marks, a single 3/16-inch keyway, and a 4140 heat-treated hub. Each damper also exceeds SFI’s 18.1 certification. If you have an OEM GM balancer part number 12675620 or 19300488, and want to use your OEM accessories in their original locations you’ll need to use the HTD drive.
