Gene Haas Tells NASCAR Bye Bye Bye

On this week’s Happy Hour, hosts Trey Lyle, Michael Massie, Davey Segal and Caleb Barnes talk about Tuesday’s (May 28) news that Stewart-Haas Racing is shutting down at the end of 2024.

The quartet also get into the rumor that teams could be limited to three charters going forward. They also discuss how NASCAR could’ve handled the ending to the Coca-Cola 600 better and whether crown jewel races should have different weather-delay rules than other races.

The guys also speculate on if NASCAR will grant Kyle Larson a waiver after he missed the Coke 600 due to the Indianapolis 500’s rain delay.
