Alpine team mates Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly are wearing special helmets this weekend to promote the new film Deadpool and Wolverine.
Yuki Tsunoda has also produced a special style for this weekend’s race. He has a Valorant-branded helmet as the first-person shooter arrives on consoles.
Pierre Gasly’s Belgian Grand Prix helmet
Alpine have switched from a blue to red livery this weekend as they promote a new film starring Ryan Reynolds, who invested in the team last year.
Each of their drivers is wearing a helmet styled on the look of one of the characters in the film. Gasly is wearing a Wolverine design…
Esteban Ocon’s Belgian Grand Prix helmet
…while Ocon’s helmet is based on that of Deadpool. It inevitably has a look of the Spiderman one he wore at the United States Grand Prix two years ago.
This is the second weekend in a row Ocon has used a special helmet design. In Hungary he wore one based on the trophy he won at the same race three years earlier.
Alpine have also produced special race suits and customised overalls for their team members for this weekend’s race.

While the Alpine duo are promoting a film, Tsunoda is wearing a film promoting Valorant by Riot Games, the popular PC-based first-person shooter which has recently been ported to PlayStation and Xbox.
