The Smartest NASCAR Playoff Preview

Trey Lyle

On this week’s Happy Hour, the four hosts — Trey Lyle, Michael Massie, Davey Segal and Caleb Barnes — assemble to give their predictions for the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.

Each of the hosts, along with a surprise guest, give their playoff brackets. But first, the quartet dive into Chase Briscoe‘s upset win in the Southern 500 to grab a playoff spot in the 11th hour.

How was Darlington Raceway as the cut-off race? Should NASCAR have it as that again at some point? The guys weigh in on where they would like to see the final race of the regular season.

The gang then name their biggest disappointments of the 2024 season. Should it be Kyle Busch, Ross Chastain, Bubba Wallace or someone else? Tune in to find out.
