MUNICH, GERMANY – November 14, 2024 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – RM Sotheby’s is delighted to announce a star-studded final list of consignments for its return to Munich on 23 November.
Undoubtedly one of the stars of the sale will be the 2022 Ferrari Monza SP1. One of only 499 examples of the limited-edition Monza, the model was the first of Ferrari’s ‘Icona’ series. Finished in striking Titanium Grey with Giallo Modena accents and trimmed in Cioccolato leather, the SP1 paid homage to the classic beauty from Ferrari’s design from a bygone era. Offered with all of its factory-supplied accessories, this V-12 brute boasts just one owner from new and displays 1,903 kilometres on the clock (Estimate: €3,000,000 – €3,500,000 EUR).
The 2021 Aston Martin V12 Speedster is inspired by the Aston Martin DBR1 that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1959. This example is number 61 of just 88 built and is presented in the legendary Aston Martin Racing Green (Estimate: €780,000 – €1,080,000 EUR).
Further fine cars to be offered in Motorworld include a 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series Coupé. Powered by a thunderous 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V-8, this was the extreme, radical version of the already potent SLS AMG, taking inspiration from the GT3 race car. The example offered was originally retained by Daimler AG before changing hands and being sold to the first and only private owner in 2015 (Estimate: €625,000 – €725,000 EUR). This is followed by an equally special 1969 Ferrari Dino 206 GT by Scaglietti, one of just 153 examples of the aluminum-bodied mid-engined sports car. Finished in its pretty, factory-correct combination of Argento over Nera, this example comes with both Ferrari Classiche certification and a report by marque expert Marcel Massini (Estimate: €450,000 – €650,000 EUR).
More exceptional automobiles include a 2000 Abt-Audi TT-R DTM, which boasts remarkable competition history including being driven by former BTCC champion and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Laurent Aïello. Rebuilt between 2021 and 2022, this example presents the perfect opportunity to acquire a machine perfectly suited to top-tier historic race series like DTM Classic…
