HJC Helmets partners with Red Bull Racing

HJC Helmets will become the official supplier of pit crew head protection for Oracle Red Bull Racing.

Oracle Red Bull Racing and HJC Helmets are pleased to announce a multi-year partnership that will see the Korean manufacturer become the official supplier of pit crew head protection, providing the record-breaking and award-winning Team with helmets from their state-of-the-art range.

HJC Helmets has been a leader in head protection technology for five decades. Their lightweight, high-protection helmets are the choice of elite athletes everywhere, from the Tour de France to the Baja 1000. This partnership extends the Team’s existing connection with HJC, to keep their expertise onboard, in the form of a long-term relationship.

The Oracle Red Bull Racing pit crew are holders of the World Record for fastest pitstop and have been winners of the DHL Fastest Pitstop Award, for the past four years. Staying at the top, against the extremely motivated competition, only comes from paying attention to every single detail: the correct practice, the correct procedures, and the correct kit. The Team’s pit crew will be equipped with a lightweight, modular RPHA90 helmet and fibreglass F70 helmets; the latter has an ultrawide field of view, giving the Team the edge, like that extra split second to track the car or being the quickest on the wheel gun.
