Auto-Owners Insurance will continue its sponsorship of Martin Truex Jr.‘s No. 19 for Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series, JGR announced Aug. 4.
Auto-Owners will sponsor Truex’s No. 19 for multiple races as its primary sponsor in 2023, though the exact amount of races was not announced.
The sponsor is part of Truex’s car for eight races in 2022, including this weekend at Michigan International Speedway.
“Auto-Owners has been a great partner of ours for a long time now,” Truex said in a team release. “They’re always 100% behind whatever we’re doing whether that’s on the track or with our foundation. They do so many great things for us and I’m very appreciative of their partnership and I’m excited to keep it going.”
Auto-Owners is the first sponsor to be announced for Truex’s 2023 Cup campaign.
So far in 2022, Truex has nabbed three top fives and nine top 10s, entering Michigan fourth in points.
