Jesse Little's Journey Through The Racing Ranks

Jesse Little will be stepping away from racing following this weekend’s Bristol Motor Speedway events, he announced on his Twitter page Wednesday (Sept. 14).

Little competed in 12 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races this year for Young’s Motorsports, tying his career-best finish of sixth at Daytona International Speedway.

He’ll attempt his final race Thursday, Sept. 15 in the No. 02 truck.

“I want to thank each fan, friend, partner, and family member that has helped me pursue my dream of being a race car driver,” Little said. “Thank you for all the shared smiles and successes. The relationships i’ve Built with people in the industry will last forever. As well as all the memories made in and around the track. When I was a kid, I would have never imagined living this live, and I want to thank you all for helping me do so.

“I’m excited to begin a new career after this weekend’s race at Bristol. And while I won’t be climbing in race cars anymore, I’ll still be at the track, and I look forward to seeing you all there.”

Overall, Little has eight top 10s in 46 starts in the Truck Series. He also ran two Cup Series events in 2018 and 56 Xfinity Series races in 2020 and 2021, earning two top-10 finishes.

Little did not state what his next venture will be.
