10-Time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Champion Will Compete in
Spike Chassis Entry with Mark Cooper and Sage Fruit
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – January 3, 2022 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – 10-Time World of Outlaws (WoO) NOS Energy Sprint Car Series champion Donny Schatz announced today that he will compete in the 2022 Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals driving for Mark Cooper, the owner of Spike Chassis and co-entrant, Mike Curb of Curb/Agajanian Racing. Partnering with Sage Fruit, Curb Records, Carquest, Advance Auto Parts, Absolute Automation and DKW Transport Schatz will be making his fourth event appearance in the 36th running of the Chili Bowl to be held Jan. 10 to 15 at the Tulsa Expo Raceway.
