Brandon Jones Wins ARCA Pole At Charlotte

In his first ARCA Menards Series start this year, Brandon Jones won the pole for the General Tire 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He will lead the field to green Friday night (May 27).

A full-time competitor in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Jones won the 2018 ARCA race at Charlotte.

Driving the No. 81 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota, Jones won the pole by 0.052 seconds over his teammate Drew Dollar.

Dollar will start second in his last scheduled ARCA start this year.

Chevrolet drivers Daniel Dye, Rajah Caruth and Connor Mosack comprise the top five in third through fifth, respectively.

After not competing at Kansas Speedway, part-time driver Parker Chase starts sixth.

Nick Sanchez will start seventh. Sanchez enters this ARCA race with back-to-back victories at Talladega Superspeedway and Kansas.

Corey Heim, Will Kimmel and Greg Van Alst round out the top 10 starters in eighth through 10th, respectively.

Twenty-six drivers are entered in this ARCA race, so everyone will start this 100 lap race.

The General Tire 150 will take place tonight at 6 p.m. ET with TV coverage provided by FOX Sports 1.
