On the undercard of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge teams will race for two hours on Saturday morning at Lime Rock Park.  There are 35 teams entered for the race, an increase of two over the 33 that started the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park 120.

The Grand Sport class will have 23 entries, up from 18 in Canada.  Rennsport One will be back on the grid, but with a driver change.  John Capestro-Dubets will be in the No. 28 alongside Stevan McAleer, replacing Eric Filguerias.  Capestro-Dubets currently races full-time in Pirelli GT4 America SprintX for AutoTechnic Racing.  He has previous experience in what is now Michelin Pilot Challenge in the former Street Tuner class with BimmerWorld.

NOLAsport is back on the entry list after withdrawing from Watkins Glen mid-weekend and skipping CTMP.  Jason Hart and Matt Travis will once again drive the team’s Porsche.

At Murillo Racing, Kenton Koch is back in the No. 56 Mercedes after he missed CTMP.  He replaces Marc Miller, who drove alongside Eric Foss in Koch’s place and helped the team win last time out.

Finally, both of the KohR Motorsports Ford Mustangs are back on the grid after skipping CTMP.  Corsa Horizon and Riley Motorsports’ No. 21 are not entered.

In TCR, 12 teams are entered, down from 15 at CTMP.  The two TWOth Autosport Audis are not entered, along with the Hyundai Racing Canada Elantra.

The only change of note on the entry list is that Preston Brown is entered in the Belgard & Techniseal Racing Audi in place of Eric Rockwell.  Brown drove the car earlier in the season at Sebring before teammate Denis Dupont joined the team.

The Lime Rock Park 120 is scheduled to go green at 11:05 a.m. ET Saturday morning.  The race will be streamed on Peacock starting at 11 a.m.  Tape-delayed coverage of the race will air on USA on July 23 at 12:30 p.m. ET, directly opposite of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race from Pocono.
