This month’s featured motorhome can be described as the highway equivalent of sailing the open seas in your very own yacht. This dignified hauler is a 1492 Coachworks Motorhome with bunk bedding and two baths. The long list of amenities will have you scrolling this feature story for a while.

 

The 46-foot Freightliner Cascadia motorhome is powered by a 600-horsepower Detroit engine mated to a 12-speed Detroit automatic transmission. The entire drivetrain only has only 7,000 miles under its belt. From there, a 1492 motorhome welded aluminum box-area has a.063 aluminum exterior with a full walk-on roof.

More of this prime motorhome constructions includes a recessed hydraulic slide-out for a smooth exterior appearance. The living quarters are extremely insulated with ceramic coat spray thermal and sound deadening, fiberglass batt insulation, and a 4-inch sound deadening insulation on the floor.

A full walk-through cab enters solid wood cabinets and doors with dovetail drawers with soft close features. All LED lighting through the interior light up leather touch walls and ceiling, wood veneer lower panels, power nightshades, and crown molding throughout.

Kick back within the interior with features that rival your home with many custom-built items like a convertible sofa, wrap-around booth dinette, ottoman, custom-built office chair, sofa-sleeper, full bedroom, and sofa with hide-a-bed.

Let’s also not forget the four LED televisions with an interior stereo system, speakers in three zones, and an exterior entertainment center.

Ready for a race day, the exterior features include 120V outlets inside and out with GFCI protection and built-in USB outlets. There is a choice between a 50-amp, 240-volt main service or a 12-kilowatt Onan generator. There are two power awnings,15,000 BTU heat pumps, air conditioning, and a hydronic heating system with three controllable zones. The outside is lined with a wealth of saddle storage that also offers a pull-out sink and pull-out infrared gas grill.
